Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer. It is a moment to pause and reflect on the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country and the freedoms we live with every day because of their sacrifice.

There is something incredibly humbling about realizing that so many people gave everything so future generations could have opportunity, freedom, and the ability to pursue their own path. That kind of sacrifice should never become background noise in our busy lives. It deserves remembrance, gratitude, and respect.

I think Memorial Day is also a reminder that life itself is a privilege. The freedom to build a business, raise a family, speak openly, create, lead, and pursue our dreams is something many people fought to protect. We should never take that lightly.

Too often, people wait for the “perfect” moment to go after what they truly want. They wait to start the business. Wait to take the chance. Wait to use their voice. But life is moving now. Opportunities are happening now. And if there is one thing days like this remind us, it is that time is precious.

Honor those who sacrificed by living fully.
By working hard.
By being grateful.
By going after the vision that keeps calling you forward.

We owe it to those who gave everything to not waste the opportunities we have been given.

This Memorial Day, I am reflecting with deep gratitude for the brave individuals who served this country and for the freedoms that allow so many of us to pursue lives filled with purpose, ambition, family, and possibility.

Because freedom is a gift.
And how we choose to live with it matters.
