More Than a Mission, Part of the Story

National Infertility Awareness Week is a powerful reminder that behind every statistic is a story. A journey. A moment that changed someone’s life. It is a time to bring awareness, yes, but more importantly, to bring understanding, compassion, and connection to a community that deserves to be seen and supported.

For me, this work has always been about more than a business. Through Family Source Consultants, we have the privilege of walking alongside intended parents, surrogates, and donors as they navigate one of the most meaningful journeys of their lives. It is not just about building families. It is about being trusted with someone’s hope. And that is something I never take lightly.

Participating in organizations like RESOLVE and supporting initiatives during National Infertility Awareness Week is part of a much bigger commitment. It is about advocacy. It is about using our voice to educate, to support, and to create greater access and awareness for those navigating infertility. It is about standing alongside a community and saying, you are not alone in this.

Platforms like SHE DECIDES extend that mission even further. They create space for conversation, for visibility, and for women to share their stories in their own way. Whether that is through a podcast, a piece of jewelry that represents strength or a personal journey, or simply a message that reminds someone of their voice, it all matters.

What I have come to realize is that we are bigger than any one mission, product, or brand. We are part of something much more meaningful. We are part of stories that are unfolding every day. Stories of resilience. Stories of courage. Stories of people choosing to keep going even when the path is uncertain.

Some of those stories are about building a family.
Some are about finding your voice.
Some are about healing, growth, and starting again.

And in whatever way we are invited into those moments, it is an honor.

This work is not just about what we do. It is about who we support. It is about showing up consistently, advocating daily, and creating spaces where people feel seen, understood, and empowered.
